West Wedding’s first projects were in the energy industry. We have over 30 years of experience in energy industry projects. Lately, we have found our way to cleantech investments projects. We have actively participated in numerous energy production delivery projects internationally and continue to invest in developing new, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly solutions.
For power plants, we supply feedwater tanks, district heating heat exchangers, steam accumulators, pressure vessels, storage tanks, air preheaters, and scrubbers for flue gas cleaning. We also provide steam distribution headers and pipelines, as well as LNG equipment, for energy production needs. Our hydrogen equipment and various recovery systems, including CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage) devices, are part of our cleantech solutions for cleaner energy production. For hydropower plants, we have delivered steel structures for various gates.
We are involved in new plant projects, but we also provide necessary lifecycle services for old equipment and tanks. We manufacture equipment for both new green field plant investments. Services include comprehensive modifications and repairs of pressure vessels and tanks. We typcally do workshop pre-fabrication and complete the work with on-site installations. Our supply chain typically begins with the dimensioning and design phase, where we perform calculations, FEM modeling, and planning according to technical requirements and standards. We also consider existing legislation related to pressure vessels. Even during the design phase, we account for manufacturing and maintainability aspects. In combination with the right materials, this approach ensures a long-lasting and functional result. Sustainable approach is in the center of our deliveries. That ensures high-quality products to our customers, which are made by manufacturing professionals at our own workshop.
In repair and modification work, we are able to respond quickly. We perform repair work not only in Finland but also across Europe.
