More Detailed Emission Data Enhances Transparency in Our Sustainability
In 2024, the report was for the first time prepared in line with the VSME standard. The new report contains more numerical data regarding West Welding’s consumption and emissions. For example, Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions are included in the report and have been calculated according to the GHG Protocol using the carbon footprint calculation tool provided to member companies by Teknologiateollisuus ry. The purpose of the sustainability report is to increase the transparency of West Welding’s operations and to communicate transparently about our social, environmental, and economic impacts.
